The Copper River in Alaska is one of the most rugged rivers anywhere. Salmon returning to this river system must store extra fat and oils in order to make this arduous journey. This high fat and oil content, in the largest of the salmon species, is why wild Alaskan Copper River King (Chinook) Salmon are the best tasting and healthiest salmon available. In addition, this combination pack offers delicious wild Alaskan Halibut. Halibut is a deep ocean fish caught in the cold, pristine waters off the coast of Alaska. If you like firm, flaky, white-fleshed fish you will love this easy to prepare steak. Halibut goes well with many different sides and the steaks grill or broil with little effort or time. Several recipe cards for both salmon and halibut are included with each combination pack.
The Copper River King fillets are boneless, skin on, 6 - 8 oz. portions, individually vacuum sealed and ready to prepare or freeze. The Alaskan Halibut steaks are cut in 8 - 16 oz. portions, vacuum packed and ready to prepare or freeze.
